Disappeared Sudetenland: Eagle Mountain Chapter
Book Disappeared Sudetenland issued Antikomplex Association (5th edition, 2007) maps the different regions of Bohemia and Moravia, which occurred after 1945, the German minority to emigrate. In particular, the border region have undergone profound changes due to displacement of indigenous and other population movements. Book to describe the postwar fate of cultural landscapes and villages, many of which disappeared completely, delivers a unique comparison of historical and contemporary photographs of places to identify and determine the typical character of the area. Chapter "Eagle Mountains - das Orlicke hory" is made available electronically in PDF format.
The authors of essays and photographs relating to the Eagle Mountains are Holendová Radek, Jan Jires and Paul Cooper. All text is bilingual in Czech and German.
