Probably only few of us have knowledge of folk culture and customs of the Germans established in 1945 in the Eagle Mountains. After all visible references to the original German settlement today provide only a stone Calvary individual statues of saints or scattered in the landscape, which usually contain more legible inscriptions in German and also serves as evidence of popular piety in the region. Worse than the written word, of course, transmit or share traditional folk singing. The folk memory orlickohorského therefore have been virtually displaced by German folk songs.
