In 2006 she defended her Master. Alena Ježková at the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, his thesis "pilgrimage and religious devotion in the Eagle Mountains and Podorlicko". The work deals with pilgrimage sites in the Eagle Mountains and countryside Podorlicko both places the Catholic Church recognized the pilgrimage, or sacred, and the place where you can find and follow signs folk beliefs. Due to differences in ethnic composition in the examined parts of the observed phenomenon of different historical developments in Czech and German parts. A picture of the overall framework within which the phenomenon occurs pilgrimage sites, offers insights into the historical development of the area with regard to Christian piety and the development of ecclesiastical organization in history. It also monitors the process of colonization and ethnic composition of the population.
